Let's Talk about it, more coming soon!
-What is SickCity NFT?
-SickCity is an Organic Acoustic Folk Punk Music CNFT Project. Basically, I take my ukulele, my guitar, my bass, my djembe, my melodica, my washboard, and all my other miscellaneous instruments and I put together original songs and I release them as NFTs on the Cardano Blockchain.
-Because I want to be one of the first, I love Cardano and I love the fact that proof of stake runs everything.
-How long have you been playing?
-I started in 2007 when I moved out of my parents house and into my first apartment... I had a lot of angry neighbors but I did my best to make it up to them.
-What makes this project special?
-Great question, I'm really interested in creating music that doesn't sound like your traditional music, I will be introducing many songs with multiple NFTs per song and implement a rarity scale to create some versions of the song that are far more scarce than others.
-What do you mean?
Each song may have multiple NFTs minted, each NFT may have a different version of the song, it may contain different instruments, different vocals, the NFT Image attached to it may have different scarcities assigned to them. Heck, you may even get lucky and get an original demo recording of a song. I'm really interested in what the community finds value in and so far this is what I've heard.
-Why Folk Punk?
-Because it's weird, it's different, it touches on subjects that some people really don't feel comfortable talking about, but I'm going to. Punk music taught me that it's ok to talk about that kind of stuff. That kind of vulnerability will make you strong.
-So it's literally Crypto Punks?
-Where do you see this project going?
-Honestly, I love writing music, I want to be able to use this as my outlet, to get my voice heard, positively impact others, inspire others to think differently, I want to be inspired to think differently, all of that. As long as there are ears around me, I'm going to do everything I can to keep going.
-How can I get a hold of you?
-I'm normally always available in the discord server, but twitter works as well!
